Our DNA

Ephesians 4:22-32. Gal. 5:22-26 One of the major evidences that the Christian has not put of the old man is when they boast about what type of person they are. " I speak my mind..I am not a hypocrite like others". Or " I just keep my mouth shut". Etc. God wants to change who we are into Who He is. Conform us to the image of His Son. We all have personality traits. Some refer to them as Sanguine, Melancholy, Choleric and Phlegmatic of which a mixture of other traits playing out in our behaviour. Some attach their personality to which month they were born. Today we talk a lot about genetics and our DNA. Whatever is the cause or causes of our Natural behavior or personality does not allow for the Christian to feel proud about their Natural personality etc. God wants us to put on as it were His personality. This can happen when we deliberately submit our wills to Him and walk in the Spirit and Be filled or controlled by the Holy Spirit so we can produce the Fruit of the Spirit. Observe it is one FRUIT with 9 ingredients which blend together to make us into a new person. Desire to be like The Lord Jesus don't brag about who or what you are. Put off the Old man and put on the New man. MY PRAYER. LORD help us to see the wrong in ourselves so we can see the need of letting You make us more Like the Lord Jesus. Cleanse thou us from secret faults. God bless you.
