Surrendering to Him

Matthew 10:31-42 The Lord Jesus made it quite clear to His disciples what He expected of them. He often called them to declare their hands. If they were the ones He was going to give the privilege and responsibility to carry out His program of preaching the gospel and making disciples after He Left then He wanted total loyalty from them. So too does He want total loyalty from those who say they are Christians. Loyalty like that which was said about Paul and Barnabus in Acts 15:26 "Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Our Scripture Reading does not imply us hating people but that our loyalty to the Lord must be first. We know by His promises that this will work out best for us. Romans 8:28 is a good reminder of this principle. "For we know that all things work together for good to them that Love God..." Both in this life and when He returns He promises to reward such people. And remember the sufferings of this present are not worthy to be compared to the glory that should be revealed in us. Let us therefore surrender our lives to Him Who loved us and gave Himself for us. And let us purpose for your life on earth be fulfilled. Surrendering to Him
